Our Approach to Data Protection

Crucible has a focused and holistic approach to data protection. We have a dedicated DPO (Data Protection Officer) whose responsibility it is to work across all aspects of the business to ensure a rigorous approach to data protection is maintained.

We believe that there are many benefits to General Data Protection Regulation 2018 (EU) 2016/679 compliance and welcome the data protection reforms. We are working carefully to ensure General Data Protection Regulation 2018 (EU) 2016/679 compliance across our business operations.

Crucible is currently ISO/IEC 27001(E), ISO 9001 and Cyber Essentials certified. ISO certification defines requirements for the establishment, implementation, maintenance, and continual improvement of an Information Security Management System (ISMS), through robust internal and external auditing. Cyber Essentials defines a set of controls that cover the basics of cyber security relating to common Internet-originated attacks against an organisation’s IT systems, and a mechanism to demonstrate that these precautions have been taken.
